Wall Mounted IW-25-5 ON Wall Dehumidifier with Bi-Polar Ion Generator
The patent pending IW-25-5 On Wall Dehumidifier with combined Bi-Polar Ionization Technology controls excessive moisture that contributes to poor indoor air quality, property damage, mold, comfort complaints, and possible liability risks. The IW25-5 on wall dehumidification system helps lower indoor relative humidity helping prevent moisture issues. * The quiet and easy-to-install built-in dehumidifier system is suited for both new construction and retrofit installations in multifamily, hotels, student housing, office, and residential applications. Removes up to 33 pints per day (@80°F and 60%RH) in 1,500 square feet.
How It Works
The IW-25-5 ON WALL Dehumidifier utilizes its integral humidistat to monitor the conditioned space. When the relative humidity goes above the selected setpoint, the dehumidifier will energize. As air is drawn across an evaporator coil. This means moisture will condense out of the air. The air is then reheated through the condenser coil and distributed back into the room.
Installation
The built-in IW25-5 ON-Wall dehumidifier is designed for direct surface wall mounting on surfaces including CMU block, masonry, concrete, brick, etc.
