Wall Mounted IW-25-5 IN Wall Dehumidifier With Bi-Polar Ionizer
The patent pending IW-25-5 In Wall Dehumidifier with combined Bi-Polar Ionization Technology controls excessive moisture that contributes to poor indoor air quality, property damage, mold, comfort complaints, and possible liability risks. The IW-25-5 in wall dehumidification system helps lower indoor relative humidity helping prevent moisture issues. * The quiet and easy to install built-in dehumidifier system is suited for both new construction and retrofit installations in multifamily, hotels, student housing, and residential applications. Removes up to 33 pints per day (@80°F and 60%RH) in 1,500 square feet.
The IW-25-5 removes 33 pints of moisture in 1,500 square feet. This fifth generation dehumidifier includes an ozone-free Bi-polar Ion Generator that distributes ions which bond to indoor pollutants including bacteria, viruses, pollen, mold and odors, breaking them down and transforming them into water vapor.
How It Works
The IW25-5 IN WALL Dehumidifier system with Bi-Polar Ionization Technology utilizes its integral humidistat to monitor the indoor conditioned space. When the relative humidity goes above the selected setpoint, the dehumidifier will energize. As air is drawn across an evaporator coil, which is cooler than the dew point of the air, moisture condenses. The air is then reheated through the condenser coil and distributed back into the room.
Installation
IW25-5 In-Wall Dehumidifier with combined Bi-Polar Ionization Technology is recessed and fits in a 2 x 6 wall or through a 2×4 interior wall. For semi-recessed applications, an IDS Exterior Sleeve (sold separately) can be used.
