Design

Our Swedish design is not only attractive but built to last. We are known for our durable construction that is made of galvanized steel and is powder coated for durability and environmental protection that produces no chemical off gassing. The air purifier housing is easy to clean, and won't pick up grime and oily stains the way plastic may.

How it works

The Blueair 200 Series (203, 210, 215, 270) Air Purifiers intake air through the back of the unit. The air is passed through the pre-filter where large particles are trapped, then through the electrostatic HEPA-type filter where the small particles are trapped, and then through the ionization chamber where the air mixes with negative ions. Negative ions are then released with the clean air through the top of the unit. The ions collide with the particles in the room air and the particles become charged. When the air cycles back through the unit, the charged particles cling to the electrostatic filter media. The combined filtration technologies allow the Blueair Air Purifiers to achieve 99.97% filtration efficiency, down to .01 microns.

Filter Fit

Blueair 203 SmokeStop Unit is the ideal choice for allergy sufferers and other health-conscious individuals that need high-efficiency particle removal plus gas and odor control. The SmokeStop filter is a progressive carbon filter with a honeycomb-type structure that improves airflow and has hundreds of odor and gas absorbing carbon pellets. The filter contains 2.0 lbs of coconut shell activated carbon impregnated with a 70/30 blend of Potassium Hydroxide (KOH) and Potassium Iodide (KI). The carbon eliminates volatile organic compounds (VOC), which are responsible for odors.

The SmokeStop filter is recommended for use in rooms where heavy gaseous pollutants such as cigarette and cigar smoke or other VOC's are present.

Limited Warranty

Blueair warrants that your Blueair air purifier will be free from defects in material or workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase provided that you have replaced the filters with original Blueair replacement filters at least once every six (6) months (the "Limited Warranty"). Within the first 30 days of purchase Blueair will replace a defective unit at no charge to you and reimburse any shipping charges. After 30 days, Blueair’s obligation and liability under this Limited Warranty is limited to repairing or replacing (at its sole discretion) a defective unit and paying the freight cost of returning the unit to you. The Limited Warranty does not cover replacement filters.

To extend the Limited Warranty from one year to five (5) years, simply complete and return the product warranty registration to Blueair.

OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE

In the event of a malfunction or failure of your Blueair air purifier, please contact your local dealer or Blueair directly to obtain a return authorization number. The return authorization number must be clearly written on the outside of the shipping box or the shipment may be refused.

Your Limited Warranty remains in effect only if your Blueair air purifier:

• Is operated in accordance with the instructions provided.
• Has had its filter changed with original Blueair replacement filters at least once every six (6) months.
• Is connected to a proper power supply (see voltage label on machine).
• There is no evidence of tampering, mishandling, neglect, accidental damage, modification, and/or repair done to the Blueair air purifier by anyone other than authorized Blueair service personnel.
• Your warranty registration has been completed and returned to Blueair.

This Limited Warranty is provided by Blueair Inc. in North America and by Blueair AB outside of North America.

BLUEAIR DISCLAIMS ANY EXPRESS WARRANTY NOT PROVIDED HEREIN AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, GUARANTEE OR REPRESENTATIONS AS TO THE SUITABILITY FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE, PERFORMANCE, QUALITY AND ABSENCE OF HIDDEN DEFECTS, AND ANY REMEDY FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT, WHICH BUT FOR THIS PROVISION, MIGHT ARISE BY IMPLICATION, OPERATION OF LAW, CUSTOM OF TRADE OR COURSE OF DEALING, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS AGREEMENT, BLUEAIR FURTHER DISCLAIMS ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSSES, EXPENSES, INCONVENIENCES, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, SECONDARY OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM OWNERSHIP OR USE OF THE PRODUCTS.

This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights. Warranty provisions may vary from country to country. For details, please refer to the detailed warranty conditions provided by the Blueair distributor in your country of purchase.

IMPORTANT

The Blueair unit must have a return authorization number or delivery of the unit may be refused. The unit must be returned within 30 days after the return authorization number is issued.
