The attractive yet powerful solution to moisture and condensation problems. The HD units have been designed to address the problems caused by high humidity in the home and office. This unit helps remove mold, mildew and the odor caused by excessive humidity in the indoor environment. A permanent solution to indoor air quality issues.
Air is drawn into the dehumidifier by a fan which has been selected for its quiet operation yet, draws in sufficient air to control the excess moisture throughout the house. Air is drawn into and is discharged from the same grill front. This unique feature means that an Ebac can be placed almost anywhere in the home, between furniture, even against a wall without disturbing the airflow to the unit. Damp air is drawn into the dehumidifier and is cooled by a powerful refrigeration unit. Since the air cannot retain moisture at this low temperature, the moisture condenses and is collected in a removable container. The container is fitted with a sensor which switches the Ebac unit off when it fills up. (Some models even have an early warning indicator that lets you know when the container is almost full). The air inside the dehumidifier is now dry and cold. The energy that was removed during the cooling phase is now added back by the heat exchanger. The air is then returned to the room much dryer and physically warmer than before.
